DMITRY DERGUNOV
Artist Biography
Dmitry Dergunov was born in 1961 in Lipetsk, Russia, who has spent his childhood in Tokyo, Japan. Currently lives and works in St. Petersburg, Russia. The artist was one of the teaching staff at the department of painting, Faculty of Painting, Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
Dergunov has taken part in numerous international art-exhibitions and projects. His works are kept in many private and state collections of Russia, USA, England, Germany, France, Japan and Lithuania.
Besides, the artist has received Gold Medal Award for the graduation artwork from the Ministry of Culture of USSR. His works have also been exhibited in the "ART-MANEGEХIII" Contemporary Art Fair in Moscow, Russia; the "ART PALM BEACH" XV American International Art Fair in Florida; the "GM18" Gallery in St. Petersburg, Russia; the "Art New World" in Zhongshan, Zhongshan International Art Fair; "Watercolor Master" international exhibition in St. Petersburg, Russia
