NG KWUN LUN TONY
Artist Biography
Ng Kwun Lun Tony was born in Hong Kong, China in 1964. He received Master of Fine Art from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2011. His works have been expanded to different medium, from ink painting to installation, photography, public art, sculpture and “land art” on site. His public art projects can be found at Hong Kong International Airport, The Hospital Authority, Hong Kong Wetland Park, Hong Kong Police Headquarters, Sai Kung Visual Corridor, The Urban Council Centenary Garden and K11 Art Mall.

His works have been widely featured in most of the important exhibitions, including “Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition” by Hong Kong Museum of Art in 1983, 1989, 1992 and 1994 ; The 7th, 8th, and 10th National Art Exhibition by National Art Museum of China ; “New Ink Art: Innovation and Beyond” by Hong Kong Museum of Art in 2008 ; “Legacy and Creations - Ink Art vs Ink Art” at Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art in 2010 ; “1st Land Art Biennial – Mongolia 360°”at Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery, Ulaanbaatar in 2010. He has received Hong Kong Urban Council Fine Arts Award (Painting, Chinese Media) in 1994 and Special Award by the 10th National Art Exhibition in 2004. His works had been collected by The Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong, China ; The Hong Kong Museum of Art and University Museum and Art Gallery at The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China.
